It's Been One and A Half Year and It's (more serious) Potty Training Time

Today is the eighteenth months of my youngest son and I think it's the right time to teach him harder about potty training. It's not that I did not train him previously. He hesitated to sit on the old potty which was used by his daughter (twelve years old now, but I think the potty still deserves to be used.

I might need to have better potty to make him sit and enjoy this 'regular activities' as I don't think I am strong enough to lift him every time he needs to pup.

Don’t Choose Wrong Baby Nappy

Since a baby was just born, he should be very comfortable on each of his activity. A healthy baby needs good sleep for the his optimal growth and older baby needs to play to exercise his movement skills. As parents, you know well what can bother your baby from his rest or comfortable feeling during his play time? Yes, you are right. Feeling damp or wet on his nappy can make him uncomfortable and he surely will ‘cry for help’. The best one that parents can do is choosing the best baby nappy.

Happy Baby with Right Nappy
As a mother of three, I have been experiencing many problems related with baby, including the choices of nappies. There are hundreds brands of nappy available worldwide, and they are all available on various styles, sizes, quality and prices. As usual, price always comes up with quality and it can be said that a good price nappy has good quality of absorbing baby’s urine.

However, not any nappy can bring comfortable feeling to your baby. The most comfortable nappy for your baby is the one that will not leak when your baby is at very active—which starts from the fifth month. A nappy will not leak when it fits to your baby’s bottom. Choose nappy which can fit on active baby, yet stretchy on both sides for making him comfortable during playtime or sleeping time.

For the best comfortable feeling, choose a nappy which feature soft texture so that it is breathable for avoiding nappy rash which commonly takes place. There are some high quality brands offering thin shape of nappy which will not change in shape when it is full. So, when choosing the best baby nappy, spend time for reading every description on the product that features guidelines representing certain weight for certain size.

So, you know how to deal with your baby nappy and how to choose the best one for your little angel. Keep in mind that no matter how good the quality of the nappy, you should remain changing your baby’s nappy when it is full. Most nappy has indicator for it.

Wonderful Moments of Babies You Should not Miss

Having a baby is certainly the best moment that ever happens to every mom’s life. Though taking care of it is totally complicated, but seeing the innocent smile of this tiny creature is really comforting. Basically, all new moms should take the right treatment as babies are still very fragile and need special care.

Babies sleep close to 17 hours a day. They will sleep whenever they feel like it, wherever they feel like it, and however long they want to. Most of their sleeping spells extend only up to 2-3 hours. This is somewhat tiring as they sleep when we awake and they awake when we’re terribly very sleepy. They wake up for merely to be fed or changed. Yet, you can take some steps to help your baby’s routine get more conventional.

Put your baby in a room that is very bright during the day and take your baby to a room that is cold and dark for a night sleeping time. To avoid your baby from waking up too often, make sure your baby is comfortable by giving a warm bath and enough food before sleeping. A soft music will be the perfect lullaby.

Make sure to give your baby the very best food, mothers milk. The antidotes found in a mother’s milk protects the child against infections and makes his/her immune system stronger. Do the best that you can to feed your baby with it as you will regret later if you fail to do it with whatever reason.

You’ll be astonished when your child will love to study faces and try and grasp toys and moving objects of interest hanging over its head at three months of age. Wait for another three months and you will be great finding that he or she can stand and sit with some assistance. At nine months of age, your baby will be sitting alone and will also be able to pull herself/himself on furniture. Their babble will now start taking a specific shape and fingers will come handy in eating little pieces of food.

She will likely walk on her own and also crawl up over more difficult terrain when she’s reaching 1. They will also learn to distinguish faces and somehow are hesitate of being close to strangers. The way they express love and affection will make you the happiest mom in the world.

Things to Do for the Sake of Your Baby Safety

Keeping your baby safe at home is very important. What you should do at the first line of defense for your baby is keeping them from direct hazard. Locking all the doors is the main prevention of problems will include the ability of the baby to walk outside. Prevent problems in the home by locking doors, windows, cupboards and garages with locks that a baby or toddler can’t open.

Putting your baby in a safe place when sleeping is also very crucial. Avoid potential problems and situations where your baby could easily be hurt when the baby is sleeping. A baby can suffocate to death unless you make sure it falls asleep on it’s back. The crib should also have bars that are close enough, so the baby can’t slip through and get stuck.

The best thing for you when your baby starts crawling is to get a walker to let it learn how to walk. Have yourself a child gate to be placed on steps in your home. This will prevent your child from falling down the steps. Such kind of gate can also be used in doorways to rooms that you don’t want the child enter without your notice. If you have animals, you could even use the gates to keep the animals away from the baby. Speaking about animals, make sure you don’t have any pets on the first day your baby born. But if you already have one, pay more attention for not having a cat near the baby, so the cat doesn’t cuddle up on the face of the baby.

You should be more careful once your toddler starts learning how to walk. Keep things back away from the edge of the counters and the table. You should definitely keep away every dangerous thing like your hot cup of coffee or tea as your kid may reach it incidentally. Keep your baby also from any small thing that can be swallowed they are prone to swallowing anything during that period of age. Any thing like this will help you keep your child safe at home.
